Innovation Through Cooperation
We've partnered to conduct a scientific investigation into eddy current losses in permanent magnets with complex geometry and special measures for loss reduction. The losses will be determined using analytical calculation methods and validated by electromagnetic 3D finite element simulation. There will also be a practical validation by means of loss measurement using a suitable measuring instrument, which will also be developed, set up and tested within the scope of the cooperation.
